Bauerfeind Wrist and Thumb Support

ManuRhizoLoc is a wrist support that stabilizes, protects, and helps prevent abnormal or unwanted wrist movements. It features three adjustable Velcro straps that allow for individualized compression and a precise fit. An adjustable Velcro closure pulls back the thumb, effectively limiting motion at the joint. The device is very easy to put on and take off, even with just one hand.

ManuRhizoLoc can be used for a variety of conditions, including: Technology Thumb from mouse hand, texting, games, and cell phones; Skier's thumb (Lateral ligament lesions of the first metacarpophalangeal [MCP] joint); Gamekeeper's thumb; Osteoarthritis and arthritis; Irritation in the region of the saddle and first metacarpophalangeal [MCP] joints of the thumb; Collateral ligament injuries; Injuries to Basal Joint and Basel Joint Arthritis; Pre-operative conditions; Irritation in the wrist or in the thumb basal joint and thumb carp metacarpal joint (post-traumatic and post-operative); and Carpal tunnel syndrome.

The device immobilizes and stabilizes the wrist with three anatomically pre-contoured, adjustable aluminum bars integrated into the support, holding the thumb securely in a relaxed position. The removable thumb support can be loosened using a Velcro tab, giving the thumb joint greater freedom of movement in a controlled way. Once a sufficient degree of mobility of the thumb has been restored, the thumb support can be completely removed, allowing the user to grip objects with all of their fingers while the hand/wrist is still stabilized.

The ManuRhizoLoc is made of a soft, seamless, lightweight, breathable, and latex-free material with air pores that allow air to circulate, keeping the skin comfortable even after hours of wear. The device is manufactured in Germany with the highest quality standards.
